Diffley is responsible for the Core Regional Macroeconomic Service and the IHS Global Insight Real Estate & Construction Service. He supervises the quarterly economic forecast of the 50 U.S. states and more than 300 U.S. metropolitan areas. Diffley is also responsible for customized consulting projects. He did his Ph.D. training in economics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, completing all requirements but the dissertation.
