Alex Klein

Expertise: Alternative energy strategies

Klein is research director for the Clean and Renewable Power Generation Advisory Group. In this role, Klein directs the company's market research and analysis in alternative energy strategies including large-scale renewables, nuclear, and clean coal technologies. Prior to joining IHS, Klein was a senior analyst with Juniper Consultancy Services in the U.K., specializing in novel thermal treatment technologies including gasification and pyrolysis. Kleinhas an MS in Engineering from Columbia University and a BS from the University of Vermont.
