IHS Named Top Workplace by The Denver Post

IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS), the leading global source of information and analytics, has been named to The Denver Post’s first annual Top Workplaces list. IHS was ranked No. 5 out of 15 on the “Large Employers” list and was featured in a special “Top Workplaces” section of The Denver Post on Sunday, April 15.

The Denver Post Top Workplaces rankings were based on surveys filled out by roughly 25,600 employees of 178 organizations based or with offices in the Denver area. One hundred organizations were chosen to be ranked. The surveys were conducted by Workplace Dynamics and asked employees to score employers on a variety of measures, including appreciation of workers, direction, confidence in leadership, values and ethics, encouragement of ideas, competence of management and pay and benefits. Ranked companies were categorized as “Large” (more than 500 local employees), “Midsize” (150 – 499 local employees) or “Small” (fewer than 150 local employees).
